My husband is an enabler~

It all started when I went "hunting" for a doll pattern in my alternate sewing storage place which is otherwise known as my "laundry room"...I found some treasures amongst the boxes and got COMPLETELY off track....now I find I am in SERIOUS trouble, denial, whatever you want to call it about my STASH!!! WHAT WAS I THINKING????? Everything that I find along the way gets me as excited as when I purchased it BUT how in Gods green earth am I going to get these projects done???

If I joined a commune with 50 quilters RIGHT NOW (!) I would have enough to go around for our collective lifetimes!! OMG I have to get a clue!! Or make a reservation RIGHT NOW at a KIT intervention asylum....Oh my...

And just so you know I have quilt a stash in my sewing room upstairs....

AND my husband bought me this beautiful collection of thirties fabric for Christmas!
( I never want to untie the bow it is so pretty....)
I need time to think of a solution...or just get sewing...

  1. I'm with you Robin, the sewing is what will downsize the stash ;-) Love your beautiful 30's collection. Enjoy!

  2. Don't worry about how long it will take to get through your stash, just enjoy the time you get to spend playing with it.

  4. Oh, I know what you mean. I've spent the past week trying to rearrange my sewing room and have discovered panels and fabrics I'd forgotten about. What a shock! Love your 30's fabrics. You have a wonderful husband!

  5. What a gorgeous husband Eileen. A man who buys you fabric is worth hanging on to.
