Guess what walked right thru my front door....and right back out!!

First of all I have no business putting a picture like this on my Quilting blog but I have to make a brief point...to myself..lol!

I made the official announcement to my husband yesterday that I was to be sugar ~free in 2010. Now that is BIG news in this house because my husband knows HIS pantry will be affected as well..

So in he comes with TWO hot fudge sundaes yesterday afternoon (!) Now the interesting thing for me is that they were sundaes from McDonalds~ WE all know what they look like, BUT to me, on my 4th day of sugar~free, THIS (above) was what my mind was seeing!!

So my husband, who btw is an enabler, offered to eat both sundaes~LOL!! See he knows what is coming down the pike...no sugary bits in the pantry...

So the bottom line on my 5th day is this..Stress is everywhere, sugar is everywhere but this committment I made is my zen comfort...I knew I would find comfort somewhere else...

Now on to quilting...

  8. Never worry about the tape measure, or the scales.
Or the button or the zip...or when some dear soul asks it your putting on weight.....go out side where no one can hear you S C R E A M..........
Then eat courgette soup...It's 'em, not that great to start with...not that great to finish with actually, but then it does fill you up, so much you shouldn't want to eat anything else...you will have to force the sugar down...

If not keep screaming....I WILL FIT INTO MY JEANS AGAIN |
