She lets you "do your thing" because "your thing" is fabulous!! (As Jacki would say! ) Absolutely beautiful....can't wait to see the finished product. Is she entering it anywhere?? : )
I mark all my quilts with chalk~and then just wipe them with a damp sponge or give them a good shake when I am done~ I took s0 many classes with my HQ-16 but the one that stuck was the chalk pounce...and then I adopted some white chalk and the possibilities became endless....I live with quilt tops for a bit before I can really decide what will compliment the quilters work~I like to stay in the background....this quilting is done with dark brown thread so even though the swoops are kind of dramatic they will sink into the background of Skips' work~ I believe it has stopped raining here in new England!! C'mon sun!!
Wow! What fantastic quilting motifs! What did you use to mark them and how will the markings be removed?
ReplyDeleteThe quilting is simply magnificent! Love it!
