Authors Ridge~

"Special K" stayed this weekend for some sewing and shopping~ We made our way to Concord, Ma. to find Louisa May Alcotts resting spot so Kate could leave her a note she had written and a little bunch of flowers~ We found Louisa up on Authors Ridge along with so many other famous New England writers~such a beautiful old cemetary RICH with history....

~ And then off to the bookstore and a quick stop at Sallys' for a cookie! (it started raining BIG COLD drops when I took this pic....can you tell??)

  2. Yes, It does look cold! Heehee.
I love to visit cemetaries when I'm travelling. It might be a macabre thing to do but I can just feel the history.

  4. Wow how special. A funny thing is, I just went last night to see "Little Women" the musical at our local college. It was such a delightful presentation. I am always amazed to think that these authors probably never would have dreamed that their works would be carried on for so long.

  5. What a great day! I loved Little Women, and must have read it zillions of times and loved all the movies about it.
