Three beautiful things~

~ A roomful of grand~daughters in long red Christmas dresses sharing secrets and grand~sons in sweater vests running through the house chasing cartoon heroes...

~Special moments caught with new friends and old around a cosy woodstove fire..

~New snow and Christmas carols from a neighborhood church escorting our family as we leave the party......good times....

Thank you to my daughter Jacki and her husband Jim for hosting such a wonderful Family Christmas in Connecticut~ I forgot my camera in her dining room so I am posting a spring picture of their new was lovely decorated for Christmas!!

Oh, and of course we had Grandmas buns.....

3 beautiful things follow~up....

Kate and I made it to the Alcott house in Concord yesterday, well before the storm...
It was everything that we had anticipated~ The entire Alcott famly was in the house to greet the Christmas visitors~ A local theater group played the parts of Louisa, Meg, Amy, Marmee, and Father. The house was decorated for the holidays and the "girls" put on a play in the living room for the guests...My Kate was mesmerized by the actors so beautiful in their big hoop too..
No pictures are allowed inside the house..~ too bad for this we took a quick shot outside ( It was S0 cold!!)

It"s beginning.....

Today was our December breakfast club at the Quilted Crow in Boxborough~ We had such a good time we thought we should stay for lunch!
And then off to my favorite farm in Littleton~I wanted to buy the whole display...
It really feels like the beginning of the Christmas season in my neck of the woods~ And snow tonite!!
