Block #1 done!~ Lollypop Trees

This is going to be a big quilt! Kaffe Fassett fabrics are the best! Each fat quarter has so many color choices so you get the "most bang for your buck." Many more blocks to go.....

Kathys Quilt! ~

This is a beautiful flannel quilt pieced by my friend Kathy for her niece...She machine quilted it today using my long arm for the first time. She worked from 9 a.m. till about 1:00 this afternoon and got the whole quilt done!

Trying to stop time.....

One of my goals for 2009 was to keep a journal on fabric.... I keep prayer flags outside my sewing room window to remind me to stay the course with so many things one of them being this project. I keep the Corona all set up on my sewing table so it is ready each morning even when I am not..I'm trying guys!

Bali Bag class today~

So~ This class had a lot of homework prior to~
covering clothesline with fabric, lots of clothesline....
And today we had a chance to sew it all together to make a bag...which was really fun until my sewing machine died...but here are some pictures of some of the work and I will post the bag when I finish it!
