I vaccuumed and dusted all the black fibers, thread and dust bunnies out of my quilting room from the last black quilt in order to begin Alises' white quilt when I decided to do one of Jeans "itty bitties"...its like eating a candy bar instead of a steak dinner...very fun! I love the little ones~gives me a chance to regroup~
Thank you Jean~
I can always count on Alise to bring me the BOLDEST, BIGGEST and most beautiful quilts~ I cannot wait to begin! She also wants pretty floral freehand designs in white to dance around all her great piecing...Hmmmm.I have an idea...

I can't imagine life without chalk~ I use it for designs and I use it for reminders so that the quilt makes perfect sense when it comes off the rollers..as it goes up and around I tend to forget what the plan was...
This quilt, as the next, is black on black which has been a challenge with all the cloudy rainy days we have had in New England. I finally purchased additional lighting and "Voila!" there's the stitching...the applique on this quilt is stunning~

So I apologize in advance because I am not showing any finished or near finished projects...I got swept away by this book by Kathy Doughty and Sarah Fielke. I would like them all but truly love The "Burbs" with all the little ladies in their fancy dresses or as someone I know would say "glad rags" I will post soon with something accomplished....

I finished the binding today while watching the service for Michael Jackson. Very sad and very real..now it's all about his children.
I want to put this quilt up on the hanger on my porch but I think I want to bring it to the quilt shop first and share~
